So spoilers duh.
Yet again an episode of Game of Thrones has come and gone and once again we’ve all been through the emotional wringer we’ve all come to know and hate.This latest episode was one of the toughest for me as we all sat in shocked silence watching fan-favorite Hodor leave this world behind. Not only that but we also had to endure that tear jerking scene that explored the secret behind the character’s one-word vocabulary.
Now series creators and producers D.B. Weiss and David Benioff are back with an apology for us all…but it’s not for the reason you think.
Jimmy Kimmel Live aired this “A Heartfelt Apology” which features both Weiss and Benioff. “We’d like to apologize for Sunday’s episode. Not for killing Hodor. We kill a lot of the main characters. We’ve killed 739 main characters, so far. We’re sorry for all the idiots who from now on will be shouting ‘Hodor’ every time you go through a door.” This I have to admit is a crime I am personally guilty of to the tune of about 554 as of writing this article. I’m not proud of it but god damn I’ll be continuing.

During the episode Benioff also confirmed this plot twist was brought to you by George R.R. Martin himself, something we reported a couple of days ago;
“We had this meeting with George Martin where we’re trying to get as much information as possible out of him, and probably the most shocking revelation he had for us was when he told us the origin of Hodor, how the name came about,” he said.
What did you think of Hodor’s untimely demise? Let us know in the comments below…
